Description
The ZBENCH TIMSMETABO laboratory bench by ZenBench is custom-engineered exclusively for the timsTOF metabo spectrometry system. Built on a rock-solid, high-strength structural aluminum profile framework and a premium work surface with ultra-high chemical resistance, it supports a static load capacity of up to 500 kg. Its specialized low-profile framework stands at a reduced height of 58.5 cm, optimizing laboratory ergonomics, ensuring maximum stability, and providing safe access to the instrument’s upper modules.
The lower layout features an innovative floorless design that optimizes daily laboratory workflows. The right-side compartment isolates the analytical vacuum pump (Ebara EV-SA20), which rests directly at floor level. This configuration allows heavy equipment to be rolled in and out effortlessly, eliminating any heavy lifting during routine maintenance. Conversely, the left-side compartment is configured to house the chiller, which is securely mounted on an integrated low-profile technical tray at floor level for a rigid and stable positioning.
To guarantee optimum workplace comfort, both compartments feature an advanced acoustic mitigation system lined with 50 mm thick high-density insulation that suppresses over 85% of perceived continuous ambient noise. This technical housing comes standard with a front-mounted digital climate control panel and an automated ventilation system powered by 8 horizontal ultra-quiet exhaust fans to maintain high-airflow thermal management.
Outfitted with six heavy-duty leveling casters featuring integrated mechanical stabilizing feet, each individually adjustable, the bench combines agile, effortless mobility during rear-access maintenance with a rigid, perfectly leveled floor anchoring entirely free of vibrations.

- Integrated 12 V power supply customized for UK main networks (230 V / 50 Hz) equipped with a secure industrial connector and a UK Type G safety plug.
Control panel with temperature display
- On button (green) and off button (red).
- Fans active from 20 °C. They reach maximum speed at 35 °C.
- Progressive optical and acoustic alarm in 3 levels: 56 °C, 61 °C and 70 °C.
- Backup battery to keep the alarm active without power.
