Description
The ZenBench ZBENCH 120VP1XL-F laboratory bench is engineered to optimize the footprint of your mass spectrometry (MS) equipment, seamlessly merging superior acoustic isolation, structural stability, and technical safety. Constructed with a high-strength aluminum profile frame and a highly chemical-resistant work surface, this unit supports static loads of up to 1,100 lbs (500 kg) with absolute security.
Its lower enclosure features an advanced technical insulation system that drastically dampens roughing pump and motor noise, achieving a reduction of up to 20 dBA. Engineered with a floorless, open-base architecture, the bench is specifically designed to house heavy-duty vacuum pumps and chillers directly on the laboratory floor. This floorless configuration completely eliminates the transmission of mechanical vibrations to the upper benchtop, safeguarding high-precision analytical data. Furthermore, it incorporates intelligent automated ventilation and a multi-stage thermal protection system with audible and LED indicators to actively mitigate overheating risks.
Equipped with five adjustable heavy-duty leveling casters, the workbench guarantees an ultra-rigid anchor to preserve the precision and reproducibility of your analytical workflows. Soundproofing compartment

Features a specialized black bottom bristle brush to optimize acoustic containment while maintaining full unit mobility.
- Ergonomic Maintenance Access: The front door features a safety latch, allowing users to fully open the compartment and slide heavy equipment out at floor level without any manual lifting. This simplifies pump oil changes, filter maintenance, and chiller adjustments.
- Acoustic Insulation: Enclosure walls and door are fully lined with a 50 mm thick, multi-layer high-density textured acoustic insulation composite engineered for maximum motor, compressor, and vacuum pump soundproofing, reducing perceived noise by over 85% (up to 20 dBA attenuation).
Ventilation and feedthrough system
- Rear Ventilation and Extraction System: Equipped with four long-life, ultra-quiet cooling fans (rated at 150,000 hours) mounted onto a fully removable service panel at the rear of the bench. This modular pull-out design provides immediate access, streamlining technical maintenance and allowing for rapid fan replacement.
- Utility Ports: Three technical utility pass-through ports: one oversized port designed specifically for vacuum hoses and main power lines, and two circular ports lined with flexible rubber gaskets for auxiliary cable routing.
- Electrical Output: 12 V – 5 A power supply for direct connection to 230 V / 50 Hz mains, equipped with a secure locking connector.
